On Monday, January 31 2022 Strong Like AK joined several amazing nonprofits in our area for the Gastonia East Rotary Grant Day 2022. It was an awesome morning sharing Adam's story and the work we are doing with pediatric cancer patients in honor of him, but twice as amazing to hear about the work that other nonprofits are doing within our community here in Gastonia, NC.
At this event, Strong Like AK was honored to be a recipient of a $1,000.00 grant from Gastonia East Rotary. This grant will help Strong Like AK support pediatric cancer patient housing and other financial needs in the greater region of Charlotte, NC.
