September is not just a month; it's a reminder of the strength, courage, and resilience of our little heroes – the pediatric cancer warriors who face challenges with unwavering determination. At Strong Like AK, we stand alongside these brave warriors and their families, showing our support and solidarity through the annual Little Heroes Blood Drive.

​

The Little Heroes Blood Drive was born from the heart of a Cancer Dad, Shawn Flynn, whose journey ignited a passion to make a difference. With the collaboration of OneBlood of the Carolinas, Shawn and his family have worked tirelessly to fill the month of September with blood drive options dedicated to honoring and remembering pediatric cancer warriors across the region.

This year, we are proud to host and participate in the Little Heroes Blood Drive on Saturday, September 30, at the City Church - Gastonia Campus in Gastonia, NC. Join us between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM for a day of community, compassion, and contribution. Every blood donation made during this event has the power to save lives and make a meaningful impact on those battling pediatric cancer.
