Kim is Adam’s mom and co-chair/co-president of Strong Like AK.

Born and currently resides is Gastonia, NC with her husband Jeremy and her son Andrew (14). They attend City Church in Gastonia, NC. 

​

Kim is the sales and event manager at The Lodge Tavern and Tap in Belmont, NC. In her free time she loves to travel, she enjoys watching her son Andrew play sports, and spending time with friends and family. She loves being on the water or at the beach as much as possible and much like her son, Adam, she has a taste for good food.

Kim could not be more proud of Adam's strength and true stoicism during his fight against cancer. His bright light shown through so often and he had a long lasting impact on so many. She feels called to continue her work with pediatric cancer patients and families through Strong Like AK because she feels Adam would want her, their family, and community to continue to support others just as they were supported throughout his journey. She never imagined, as most never do, being a mom to a cancer kid and as time continues to pass her desire is to continue to share Adam's story and bring hope to patients and family's through the work of Strong Like AK.
